Hestia, one of the largest providers of domestic abuse refuges in London and the South East, support adults and children in times of crisis. It is also the foremost charity supporting victims of modern slavery in the capital.

In 2022, Hestia supported 18,519 men, woman and children.

From giving someone a home, to helping them to get the right mental health support, Hestia support people at the moment of crisis and enable them to build a life beyond that crisis. Nearly 950 volunteers across London support the organisation, providing specialist skills such as art therapy, yoga, IT, gardening and cooking, as well as befriending and fundraising.

Working in with local authorities and partners, Hestia strive to ensure that everyone within their care is equipped with the tools necessary for a life beyond a crisis. Their staff and volunteers build honest, respectful relationships with service users to support and encourage them to lead their own recovery process.
